Letecká stovka
Mountain ultramarathon and long distance march Letecká stovka was created in 2012 and was held annually under the banner of TJ LOT Trenčín until 2019. In 2022, following an agreement between its previous organizer and members of the o.z. SLOVAK ULTRA TRAIL it was agreed to renew this popular ultra-running and long-distance trekking event in the Považský Inovec and Strážovské vrchy mountains. The 12th edition of the Letecká stovka event with a route of 106 km / +3590 m will be held during 7.-8. March 2026, including the new course - Letecká 55!
The start and finish of the 100K is located in the city of Trenčín, the route passes two prominent peaks of Považský Inovec (Panská Javorina with 943 m, Inovec with 1042 m). There are six aid stations on the Letecká stovka course - first one before the Beckov village (dam), 2nd aid station in Kálnica village, 3rd aid station in Koliba Bezovec, 4th aid station in a pension (Duchonka land), 5th aid station in the Inovecká chata (challet) and last one in the ski resort Pod Ostrým vrchom (cabin).
The new addition for the 2026 edition is Letecká 55. The main part of the Letecká 55 course goes through the Považský Inovec mountains, and its final section from Mníchova Lehota through Macková, under Čiernachov and the Cabin under Ostrý Peak, belongs to the Strážov Mountains. The start and finish are located in the town of Trenčín. There will be three refreshment stations along the route - near Beckov (16 km), Inovec Cabin (35 km), and Cabin under Ostrý Peak (45 km). The time limit for this route is quite strict - participants must reach the finish within 8 hours from the start.
Letecká stovka 2025 is a part of the 12th edition of Slovak Ultratrail League. The course with total distance 106 km has been certified by ITRA (4 points), the Letecká 55 course for 2 points. Both courses are contained in the list of ITRA National League races. Letecká stovka 2026 is a qualifying race for the Western States Endurance Run 2027.
