ULTRA KRAS 55

Ultra Kras 55 is a sports event, which took place for the first time in 2024, when the Slovak Ultra Trail League expanded to this beautiful part of Slovakia - Slovak Karst. The race, which 2nd edition will take place on 26th of April 2025, is being organized by o.z. Cassovia Trail Runners

The mountain ultramarathon with total distance of 55 kilometers and total elevation gain of 2400 meters has its start and finish under the Turnian Castle and the course is situated in the Slovak Karst National park. There will be four aid station (Háj, Drienovecké kúpele, Hačava and Zádielská chata), on top of these the participants have to take photo on another three places (selfie checkpoints). The time limit for completing the 55 km course is 12 hours, there is one more cut off time in Hačava on the 29. km (7,5 hours after the start). 

Ultra Kras 2025 is a part of the 11th edition of Slovak Ultratrail League. The course of the Ultra Kras 55 race has been certified by ITRA (3 points) and is a part of the ITRA National League.
